WordLoop

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

WordLoop is a vocabulary practice app that stores its primary data locally on the user's device.

Data stored on your device

WordLoop stores your word list, settings, practice history, and saved conversations locally using iOS data protection. API keys you enter are stored in the iOS Keychain.

Third-party AI providers

WordLoop does not send practice text to an AI provider until you give explicit permission for that provider.

When you send a practice message, WordLoop sends the message, practice prompt, and recent conversation context directly to the selected provider using your API key. Supported providers are OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic. Their handling of data is governed by their privacy policies and your agreement with them:

Do not enter passwords, financial information, health information, or other sensitive personal data into practice conversations.

Tracking and developer servers

WordLoop does not include advertising or tracking SDKs. WordLoop does not send your data to a server operated by the WordLoop developer.
